The Corporate Accountant has responsibility for the day-to-day accounting function, ensuring the integrity and consistency of accounting records and managing financial reporting,

Duties and Responsibilities

• Manage the day to day operations of the company
• Manage internal audits conducted by Group Finance
• Manage the company's billing function for all clients
• Manage the company's treasury functions including bank reconciliations
• Manage payments and filings to the regulatory authorities and ensure all regulatory deadlines are met
• Ensure payment of third party fees as they fall due
• Attend to the month-end closing and reporting process in accordance with the corporate calendar; prepare month-end financial statements, including Income Statement, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow statements, variance analysis and KPis
• Manage the year end external audit process in conjunction with the Managing Director and group
• finance
• Prepare financial budgets and forecasts to support business plans
• Manage the accounts receivable function of the company Lead and assist with ad hoc projects as necessary

Required level and content of education;
• Graduate degree in Accounting or a related field of study Qualified CPA/CA/ACCA

Business competencies and experience required;

• Minimum of 2 years of post-qualification experience
• Minimum of 2 years audit experience with a Big Four Firm
• Multi-jurisdictional experience
• Must have an in-depth understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles, specifically detailed knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards
• Commercially driven, to work in fast paced and dynamic environment
• Prior industry experience or familiarity with similar business model preferred
• Self-motivated, can work well both independently and in a team
• Focus on client service and delivery Strong attention to detail
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and Outlook Experience of ViewPoint, Adex, SAP and Laserfiche software highly desirable
