The Resort Manager is responsible for ensuring that all operations of the resort environment are running smoothly. The ideal candidate will be hands-on with a Rooms Division background in housekeeping, front office, and reservations. The Resort Manager will oversee and be responsible for guest experience on the resort from arrival to departure including checkin/out, in-room experience, arrival and departure experience, and overall guest satisfaction.

Desired qualifications include the following:
• Six years progressive experience in a hotel or resort environment; or a 4-year college degree and at least 4 to 5 years of related experience
• Minimum two years experience in a senior leadership role
• Prior pre-opening experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, OPERA and MICROS
• Ensure that rooms, room blocks/clusters and public areas are maintained at the highest standards
• Responsible for ensuring the profitability of Rooms Division, maximizing revenue and minimizing costs
• Ensure that amenities are delivered and rooms are ready for check-in daily
• Overall responsibility for the Rooms Division budgets and forecasting and assist with the overall preparation of the operational budget and adherence to hotel budget
• Ability to confirm that guest’s complaints and problems are resolved in a timely and efficient manner
• Promote a friendly, safe, secure environment for the enjoyment of the resort by its guests
• Oversee Rooms Division staff training and development, coaching, counseling and discipline
• Analyze all guests and employee comments through all mediums and follow through on them accordingly
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, especially when engaging with guests whose first language is not English
• Ability to function effectively in stressful situations
• Ability to concentrate on customer needs, conduct situation analysis, apply common sense, understanding and knowledge to solve problems and make rapid decisions
• Standard driven
• Must be on call for emergencies
• Perform other duties as assigned

Salary range: US$75,000 -$90,000 commensurate with qualifications and experience.
