New full-time permanent opportunity for a Mailroom Clerk.

This is an urgent requirement and candidates must be able to start asap.

The successful candidate will ensure timely delivery of communications received whilst also coordinating external deliveries and collections. Previous experience in a mailroom setting or delivery/courier/office admin would be an advantage.

The Role

• Receive incoming post, courier packages and packages and distribute within appropriate time frame
• Collect, sort and deliver internal mail at 30 minute intervals
• Receive instruction and messages via radio transmission
• Retrieve and store archived materials as requested
• Dispatch courier packages, maintain dispatch log and enter courier charges into accounting software
• Maintain levels of supplies and report any shortages to Supervisor
• Deliver and collect post from Post Office twice daily
• Other related duties as required in this dynamic, fast moving role

The Requirements

• High level of attention to detail
• Good working knowledge of office equipment/computer skills
• Strong communication skills
• A valid Cayman Islands Drivers Licence (company vehicle provided for use during work hours)
• Caymanian/PR/RERC/Status Holders only

The candidate must be over 23 years, able to drive and have a clean driving licence.

This is a varied role requiring the successful to be dynamic and mobile- candidates must be willing to perform duties outside of the office environment and have a flexible/positive attitude to assigned daily tasks.

The salary offered for the permanent position will be USD $30k-38k DOE.
