Baraud International runs a highly successful and extremely busy agency, which currently consists of around 120 full-time secretarial, administrative, accounting and professional temps from the UK, Ireland, South Africa, the Caribbean, Canada, USA, Australia and Europe. Our professional temps commit to a 6 or 12 month contract with us and fill various back-to-back long and short-term temporary assignments throughout the business community, gaining valuable experience and exposure to the workings of Cayman and 'networking' within a number of companies and firms here on the Island.

Work Permits are a crucial aspect of employment here. All non-Caymanian workers require Work Permits, which are secured and funded by the employer and which can be renewed annually. A Work Permit obligates the employee to one single employer for the duration of the current Permit.

Another major advantage to temping is that we can secure a Work Permit for you relatively quickly (within 4-6 weeks for a one year work permit). For the duration of your employment, you will be employed on a full time basis, notwithstanding your assignments will be temporary in nature. Your working week will consist of 40-45 hours per week exclusive of overtime, which is paid at time and a half. Our employee benefit package providing includes 2 weeks paid vacation, 10 days sick pay, a 50% health insurance contribution, pension and the opportunity to gain invaluable offshore experience.
